For the money on Amazon these are ok. They want twice the price at local stores. The vents on the inner thighs help only when a direct breeze is blowing on them and it has to be a strong breeze like a boat moving to notice it. It does feel a little cooler when you sweet as the fabric does get cooler to the touch like advertised. They are well built and seem to clean up ok after a fishing trip. I have used the World Wide fishing brand pants like these from Basspro at 2/3rd the price of these and felt just as comfortable... The Performance Fishing Gear (PFG) from columbia which includes these pants are nice but so far the PFG shirt is the only thing I have used from this line that is leaps and bounds ahead of everything else out there.
